Thanks to you, Taiyo Denki Sangyo Co., Ltd. has been through the turbulent Showa and Heisei eras and is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year.
We are deeply grateful for the support of our customers, shareholders, partner companies, senior colleagues, employees and their families.
Our company was established in 1954 through the merger of Taiyo Denki Co., Ltd. and Asia Communications Industries Co., Ltd. The following year, in 1955, we became a subsidiary of Nippon Electric Precision Co., Ltd. (DENSEI) and were involved in the production of "unmanned station automatic control devices for power outages" for Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Public Corporation (now NTT). After that, we improved the quality and performance of our control equipment business by producing a wide range of electrical products such as distribution boards.
In the printing equipment business, expectations for dynamic registration devices (COLORCON) increased in 1956 to accommodate the increased speed and mass production of gravure printing, but at that time overseas products were mainstream and our company was responsible for domestic maintenance services. With this background, we started developing an automatic registration device in collaboration with Toyo Communication Equipment Co., Ltd., and in 1958, we were able to release Japan's first dynamic registration device.
Since then, we have been working to further improve the products we have inherited in order to develop our control and printing businesses.
In 1987, we built our own factory at our current location, and in 2007, we became independent from major capital, with our executives and employees becoming the main shareholders through a MEBO. We believe that this has further enhanced our sense of responsibility.
Now, with our "founding spirit" in mind, we will not rest on our laurels and rely on the technology and trust built up by our predecessors, but will study their history, hone our quality and technology, and strive to improve our corporate value and fulfill our corporate social responsibility.
We will continue to put our customers first, humbly continue to study and challenge ourselves, and contribute to the development of the industrial world.
Once again, I would like to remember the hard work of my predecessors and express my sincere gratitude to everyone who has provided their cooperation and kindness up to now. I also hope for your continued guidance, encouragement, and support in the future.
